At IFA 2018 in Berlin Microsoft revealed information about it’s second major update in October and will be called Windows 10 October 2018 update.
Microsoft told that this new update will bring new features and an improved user experience. As Microsoft didn’t revealed much information about new update’s features. They only shared that we can expect a Shared Clipboard tool, which enables you to share items across multiple devices, and a new version of the Notepad application.
Microsoft said they will provide more information about new update soon. Insider program should expect to get new update soon for it’s Insider preview builds.
In this update, not expected to deliver a lot of new features, but it packs a long list of improvements and a new set of smaller features that should help to make the operating system better.
Here are some highlights about Windows 10 October 2018 update:
- Shared clipboard
- New version of notepad
- Dark mode for file explorer
- Improved connectivity with android devices to access files, messages.
- Smart update will also prevent restart after update during working hours
- New AI algorithm, machine will learn from your usage
Microsoft is also working on its next update and it’s code name is 19H1. This next update is expected in April 2019.
